About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain and maintain CLIA certificates of waiver for all CTC clinics
  • Coordinate with Regional Managers to distribute CLIA certificates to appropriate centers
  • Oversee renewals of existing CLIA certificates
  • Draft and implement CLIA compliance policies and tools for centers and full-scale labs
  • Submit change forms to CMS for laboratory director and address changes
  • Maintain CLIA compliance binders at all centers
  • Monitor licensing@ctc.care and distribute emails to applicable team members
  • Conduct regulatory research as needed
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in drafting, updating, implementing, and distributing companywide compliance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and Program Directors/Program Supervisors on compliance projects and tasks
  • Maintain and organize the License Tracking Chart; send bi-monthly state license reminders and follow up on renewals and updates
  • Maintain and update personnel file audit checklists at least annually
  • Attend weekly compliance team meetings and update the compliance work plan weekly
  • Assist with maintaining Corporate Contact and Master Center List Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist with tracking reported employee conflicts of interest
  • Attend monthly Compliance Review Committee meetings; record and submit minutes to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Attend bi-monthly DEA Compliance Task Force meetings; record and submit minutes to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Assist with contract management in SharePoint and contract summary tables
  • Assist with compliance audits as needed
  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel with other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in substance abuse treatment in a clinical role or compliance role
  • Paralegal Certification or Experience is required
  • Experience with CLIA compliance, certificates, policies, tools, change forms, and compliance binders
  • Ability to conduct regulatory research
  • Ability to draft, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Ability to collaborate on compliance-related projects and tasks
  • Ability to maintain license tracking, audit checklists, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, contracts, and compliance records
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Training and onboarding are fully on-site
  • Ability to work in Downtown Greenville, SC
