About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and post journal entries in Sage Intacct
- Perform timely balance sheet account reconciliations each fiscal period
- Roll forward account balances and explain period-over-period changes
- Own accounting areas including fixed assets/CIP, lease accounting, and revenue and expense accruals/deferrals
- Maintain clean, audit-ready books and supporting schedules during historical data transition into Sage Intacct
- Support multi-entity accounting as new club LLCs are added through organic growth and acquisitions
- Assist with integration accounting for newly acquired locations
- Assist the Controller with bank covenant compliance calculations and credit facility analyses
- Support audit readiness and external audit requests
- Convert cash-basis interim financials into audit-ready GAAP accrual-basis books in Sage Intacct for the full post-close 2026 period
- Support Sage Intacct implementation through sandbox testing, system enhancements, and process optimization
- Recommend and implement modifications to accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls as the club count scales from 12 to 40+
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Advanced accounting expertise including multi-entity consolidations
- CPA status is asked about in the application
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Understanding of financial statement impacts of journal entries
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
- Knowledge of fixed assets/CIP, lease accounting, and revenue and expense accruals/deferrals
- Experience supporting multi-entity accounting, acquisitions, integration accounting, audits, bank covenant compliance, and GAAP accrual-basis books
- Experience with sandbox testing, system enhancements, process optimization, accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls
