About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of assigned events across EMEA
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and provide proactive guidance throughout the planning process
  • Manage external venues and suppliers, including sourcing, briefing, negotiation, and coordination
  • Oversee event logistics, including attendee management, branding, production, catering, registration, setup, and onsite delivery
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, and commercially responsible spending
  • Maintain event data and reporting, including registrations, attendance, leads, budgets, and post-event results
  • Evaluate event performance, feedback, key learnings, and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to event best practices, processes, and standards
  • Manage event setup and delivery in Cvent, including registration sites, communications, and reporting
  • Support invitations, monitor registrations, and drive attendance against targets
  • Use Salesforce and internal teams for contact selection, event tracking, and post-event lead management
  • Prepare, pack, and ship event collateral and promotional items; coordinate couriers and deliveries
  • Support the wider Events team with administrative and operational tasks during busy periods
  • Work with Marketing and the wider organization to deliver high-quality events aligned with commercial and brand objectives
  • Report to the Senior Event Specialist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years' experience in events, preferably within a corporate, professional services, financial services, or agency environment
  • Experience managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously while tracking ROI
  • Ability to take ownership of events without relying on step-by-step direction
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and authentically with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with guidance and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written English, proofreading, and research skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required, sometimes at short notice
  • Willingness to work outside 9–5 office hours as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is ideally preferred
