About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a member of the client-facing fund services team catering to global hedge fund, private equity, and debt fund clients
- Work with complex fund structures and multiple asset classes across jurisdictions
- Understand private equity/debt fund structures, SPVs, standalone funds, master-feeder funds, and entity roles
- Record investor commitments and account for initial, subsequent, and late closings
- Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, switches, capital calls, distributions, wire details, and related schedules
- Process and understand master-feeder capital transactions
- Book trading and non-trading transactions and finalize books of accounts
- Prepare monthly/quarterly NAV workbooks and economic allocations
- Apply P&L rebalancing and European and American waterfall methods
- Compute management fees, preferred returns, and carried interest
- Calculate IRR, time-weighted return, and investment multiple ratios
- Handle investor, fund-level, and ILPA reporting
- Interact with clients on accounting and operational issues
- Apply operations and accounting knowledge to bank debt, TRS, MBS, and CLO instruments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred Masters in Finance & Accounting or Chartered Accountant
- 5-10 years of experience in the Financial Services / Capital Markets Industry, with a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in Private Equity / Financial Reporting
- Experience working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization, ideally in a matrix structure
- Demonstrable accomplishments relating to organizational change activities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced dynamic industry
- Positive attitude, team player, proactive, and ready to accept challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work timings aligned with EMEA/Americas
