About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a member of the client-facing fund services team
  • Provide specialized accounting services to global hedge fund, private equity, and debt fund clients
  • Process capital activities, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches
  • Prepare capital call and distribution notices, wire details, and related schedules
  • Book trading and non-trading transactions and finalize books of accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly NAV workbooks and economic allocations
  • Compute management fees, preferred returns, and carried interest
  • Handle investor reporting, fund-level reporting, and ILPA reporting
  • Interact with clients regarding accounting and operational issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferred Chartered Accountant (Freshers)
  • Experience working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization, ideally in a matrix structure
  • Demonstrable accomplishments relating to organizational change activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
  • Positive attitude, team player, proactive, and ready to accept challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of private equity/debt fund structures, special purpose vehicles, standalone funds, and master-feeder funds
  • Knowledge of investor classes, GP class, carry class, and affiliated/non-affiliated classes
  • Knowledge of investor commitments and accounting for initial, subsequent, and late closings
  • Knowledge of master-feeder capital transactions
  • Knowledge of P&L rebalancing and European and American waterfall methods
  • Knowledge of management fees, preferred returns, and carried interest computations
  • Knowledge of internal rate of return, time-weighted return, and investment multiple
  • Knowledge of operations and accounting for bank debts, TRS, MBS, and CLO instruments
