About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform and review core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions
Monitor and reconcile fund cash accounts daily, identifying and escalating unusual or inconsistent transactions
Conduct asset safekeeping controls by verifying, documenting, and maintaining asset records
Carry out oversight activities to ensure fund operations and transactions comply with regulations, fund documentation, and internal procedures
Prepare and review depositary work according to the four-eyes principle
Collaborate with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain client relationships
Provide clients with high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters
Contribute to a collaborative team focused on exceptional client service and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Fluency in English and Dutch is required
Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment
Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach
Commitment to an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Knowledge of the AIFMD, UCITS framework, and the Dutch regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential
