About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform accounting entries and reconciliations for highly complex companies
- Control and analyze fixed-asset accounts, including new acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and movement schedules
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Analyze, record, and reconcile payroll
- Apply knowledge of costing techniques and methods
- Support the accounting and closing of import and export processes
- Support external and internal audits
- Participate in physical inventories of fixed assets and stock
- Design and implement process controls and internal policies
- Monitor accounting legislation and standards (CPC and IFRS)
- Prepare and submit ancillary obligations (ECD, IBGE, BNDES)
- Participate in projects as needed
- Hold alignment meetings with requesting departments
- Train new employees
- Propose improvements for the department
- Prepare financial statements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
