About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a varied portfolio of securitisation and structured finance transactions, including CMBS, RMBS, consumer credit, CLOs and auto receivables transactions
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients and internal and external transaction parties
  • Provide timely client responses, personal attention and complaint follow-up
  • Review and understand transaction documents
  • Analyse, evaluate and discuss client and prospect requests
  • Draft CSC services agreements, fee letters and ancillary documents
  • Handle transaction incorporation, onboarding, documentation review and execution
  • Complete internal transaction processes and procedures accurately and on time
  • Manage company secretarial obligations for allocated SPVs
  • Organise and prepare board meetings
  • Maintain the legal standing of SPVs throughout their lifecycle
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients and intermediaries
  • Attend client and intermediary meetings and participate in business trips when needed
  • Coordinate reporting of legal issues to clients
  • Maintain complete and accurate client files
  • Adhere to client acceptance and compliance procedures and conduct periodic client-file reviews
  • Monitor managed transactions and ensure SPV compliance with applicable regulations, including Market Abuse Regulations
  • Submit time records and prepare and review client billing files and invoices
  • Coach junior team members and oversee their execution of transaction documents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in structured finance
  • Experience with a corporate services provider is an advantage but not essential
  • Legal degree or similar
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to cope with a busy workload and agree and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Willingness to provide guidance and training to junior team members
