About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Abstract and summarize new patient charts
- Serve as a point of contact for moderately complex charts
- Work within pre-defined methods, tactics, and procedures to impact department goals
- Complete accurate new patient abstracts prior to initial appointments
- Serve as a resource with in-depth and broad knowledge of patient charts
- Partner with Intake leadership to understand department and corporate strategy and operating objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the medical field, preferably oncology
- Must be available/flexible between 7:30AM–4:30PM MST (AZ time)
- Oncology experience highly preferred
