About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare well-documented functional specifications for assigned projects
- Prepare test plans and test cases, and execute test cases
- Research and analyze complex data to ensure accurate functional design
- Mentor less experienced staff through application training, research analysis, and project methodology consultation
- Serve as functional lead on complex projects and coordinate project team meetings
- Schedule and facilitate meetings and document and distribute meeting minutes
- Meet with business clients to discuss application changes related to enterprise initiatives, compliance/regulatory requirements, contractual agreements, or BAU maintenance
- Participate in design discussions and document and deliver functional specifications
- Identify business requirements for application user experience and provide feedback to clients
- Review business requirements with technology teams
- Coordinate and provide project estimates, timelines, and project phases
- Advise on application impacts from enterprise-wide initiatives such as acquisitions or major product/service changes
- Work with vendors and technical teams to understand functionality and provide implementation insight
- Serve as test coordinator for large initiatives involving multiple applications
- Document data mapping for system integration, conversion, and acquisition-related projects
- Prepare test plans and scripts with testing teams and manage or execute test cases
- Monitor specifications and change requests to maintain scope, regulatory compliance, business requirements, and technology standards
- Document, review, and resolve change requests
- Coordinate timely resolution and documentation of testing and implementation issues
- Manage post-implementation feedback, issue resolution, and actual-versus-planned timeline and financial debriefs
- Adhere to company risk, regulatory, and internal control standards
- Escalate risk-related issues to management
- Support diversity and the Bank brand
- Implement internal and external audit points and address regulator-raised issues
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6 years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software packages
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution

- Advanced understanding of supported applications and interfacing/integrated applications
- Advanced knowledge of the entire system to work on projects outside normal BAU
- Ability to use project management, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent understanding of the Bank's application framework
- Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms
- Ability to understand supported businesses and terminology
- Ability to present effectively to all levels of management
- Ability to multitask across components of complex projects
- Ability to coordinate between applications and business units
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
- Ability to recognize project milestones and delivery dates
