About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate and collaborate in the design, building, testing, and deployment of technology solutions with assigned Agile teams
Collaborate with domain leadership and enterprise architects to understand business drivers and capabilities and determine solution designs
Work with subject matter experts to articulate the value and tradeoffs of solution options
Participate in creating enterprise architecture standards and evaluate delivered solutions for quality and compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile team ceremonies
Produce, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives
Research and identify impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends
Participate in governance activities
Contribute to evaluating and resolving domain-specific architecture problems
Assist enterprise and solution architects with architecture for dependent products
Harness existing technology resources through collaboration
Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and risk appetite; escalate risk-related issues
Promote diversity and reflect the Bank brand
Maintain internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory points
Complete other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 year's higher education and/or relevant work experience
Experience with multiple programming languages
Ability to work and communicate with various stakeholders at differing levels of the organization
Experience in software or service engineering and delivery
Ability to research and apply modern technology trends related to technology initiatives
Ability to research, evaluate and articulate multiple approaches to solving technical problems
Experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns
Graduate degree in technical discipline preferred
Experience working in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design preferred
Experience in delivering technology and enterprise level presentations preferred
Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
Industry recognized certification in programming languages and/or cloud technologies preferred
Experience working in the financial services industry preferred
