About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and own the product/program vision for assigned agile product teams, aligning it with strategic intent and communicating it to teams and stakeholders
Prioritize feature backlogs in partnership with other Product Owners
Make autonomous decisions to advance delivery in alignment with product vision and strategy
Manage and lead a group of Product Owners working toward the same strategic intent
Manage and remove blockers and support prioritization of team backlogs
Lead analysis of feasibility, cost, and other aspects of planned or potential programs
Create information radiators and communication tools for internal teams and stakeholders
Participate in appropriate team activities and agile ceremonies
Work with business partners across the organization, advocating for customer benefit
Understand and engage with customers
Focus on outcomes over outputs, using design thinking methods and analytics to inform product design
Collaborate across teams and with Product Owners to align customer journeys and dependent backlogs
Assess business, technical, and operational impacts of projects or problems
Exercise managerial authority over staffing, appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations
Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; maintain internal controls and escalate risk issues
Promote an environment supporting belonging and reflecting the Bank brand
Implement internal and external audit points and address applicable regulator issues
Complete other related duties as assigned
Manage people, budget, planning, and activities through influence, accountability, and ownership in an agile environment
