About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead multi-phase software development projects from design through production
Define project scope, requirements, and lifecycle plans through deployment
Build and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
Identify critical path decisions and make recommendations to leadership
Manage project resources, hours, costs, and budget versus actual
Create risk mitigation and contingency plans
Drive issues to resolution and enforce project standards
Keep vendors, technical teams, and executives aligned with clear communication
Deliver an approved project plan with defined milestones within the first 30–60 days
Establish consistent budget-to-actual reporting by month three

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of project management on software development or IT initiatives
3+ years in a technical client-facing or vendor-facing role
Proven record running complex projects from design and development to production
Experience managing requirements, scope, and budgets, including budget to actual
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage several complex assignments at once
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology or business
PMP certification or equivalent is nice-to-have
Business analysis experience is nice-to-have
Experience with Jira, Tempo, Confluence, and Smartsheets is nice-to-have
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts and distributed workflow processes is nice-to-have
Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts is nice-to-have
