About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web scraping solutions extracting structured data from HTML-based websites
- Handle dynamic, multilingual, and access-restricted websites
- Resolve geo-blocking, Cloudflare restrictions, CAPTCHA interruptions, and caching issues
- Build and improve C#/.NET tools for automated data extraction, source-link monitoring, and validation
- Contribute to caching algorithm improvements and performance optimisation
- Use AI-assisted technologies and automation to reduce manual effort and improve productivity
- Ensure accuracy and quality of extraction outputs
- Manage assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines and extraction targets
- Document code changes, development approaches, and testing outcomes
- Participate in daily stand-ups and report progress, blockers, and next steps
- Collaborate with Senior Analysts, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and refine requirements
- Maintain Jira, RM, and project management tools with accurate progress updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6 months–1 year of relevant experience; internships and academic projects welcome
- Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web structures
- Programming experience in C# and/or .NET
- Understanding of web scraping concepts, data extraction techniques, and content processing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong task-management skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adopt AI tools for automation and process improvement
- Nice to have: experience with dynamic, multilingual, or access-restricted websites, including geo-blocking, CAPTCHA, and Cloudflare
- Nice to have: familiarity with performance optimisation, debugging, and data retrieval techniques
- Nice to have: exposure to Jira, Power BI, or similar project/reporting tools
- Nice to have: background in FinTech, BPO/BPM, IT Services, SaaS, or Publishing & Digital Content
