About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, from initial engagement and statements of work through project delivery and BAU transition
Build and maintain strong client relationships, driving engagement and satisfaction
Lead client-facing meetings and workshops on and off-site
Present project status, demonstrate platform functionality, and manage expectations
Proactively identify and resolve issues before escalation
Work across legal, finance, and technology functions to meet client engagement requirements
Maintain and develop partner relationships to ensure a high-quality, aligned service proposition
Gather client requirements and feedback and influence the product roadmap
Perform UAT testing of client releases as required
Continuously develop industry knowledge through events, webinars, and reading

Requirements

What you’ll need

Project management and delivery of change and technology transformation within the financial sector, particularly regulatory-driven initiatives
Exposure to risk and compliance implementation projects
Strong understanding of large-scale programme delivery using Agile, DevOps, and waterfall methodologies
SCRUM qualifications would be beneficial
Experience using agile delivery tools such as JIRA
Understanding of digital transformation and ability to convey key concepts and principles to teams and clients at multiple levels of seniority
Ability to facilitate workshops and elicit business requirements with minimal supervision
Understanding of how to operationalise new operating models, technology, and processes for the financial services sector
Prior experience in consulting firms and/or technology vendors within financial services would be a distinct advantage
Understanding of financial services regulations such as MiFID II, FRTB, SFTR, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and CSDR would be desirable
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder communities with varying levels of experience
Ability to lead teams and take full accountability for delivery
Proven track record of collaboration with international and offshore teams
High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions, and ability to work under pressure
Intellectual strength and flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems, apply critical thinking, and rationalise them into workable solutions
