About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of Cubic Transportation Systems in New York and New Jersey
  • Own the design, build, and long-term service delivery of nationally significant technology-enabled infrastructure programs
  • Maintain full P&L accountability for the NY/NJ business and major programs
  • Develop and execute business strategy and the Annual Operating Plan
  • Lead programs across contract award, onboarding, design, build, operations, and long-term service delivery
  • Drive revenue, operating profit, cash flow, return on net assets, and growth targets
  • Direct sales and account management teams to identify opportunities, expand services, and manage change orders
  • Build relationships with government officials, transport agencies, regulators, customers, and industry partners
  • Represent CTS at executive forums, public meetings, and industry events
  • Manage contracts, claims, negotiations, contractual entitlements, and risk with legal counsel and advisors
  • Ensure operational and program compliance with contractual, regulatory, safety, quality, and CTS policy requirements
  • Lead and develop direct and matrixed teams across engineering, program management, operations, supply chain, and commercial functions
  • Support CTS’s transition to a globally integrated delivery and support model

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership roles in Program Management
  • Strong strategic leadership and vision
  • Current or past experience with full P&L and commercial ownership
  • Deep understanding of government relations and stakeholder engagement
  • Program and operational excellence, including a continuous improvement mindset
  • Financial discipline and risk management, including development of KPIs or other measures of success
  • Talent development and succession planning
  • Change leadership and transformation
  • Ability to meet regulatory, contractual, safety, quality, and company policy requirements
  • Domestic travel required; international travel as needed
