About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the organisation's Talent & People strategy through end-to-end recruitment and HR generalist support for the EMEA customer base.
- Advise managers across the EMEA business on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, employee lifecycle processes, HR best practices, employment legislation, and company policies.
- Support the Culligan EMEA team by attracting and introducing talent across UK locations.
- Support managers in fostering a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and introduce new ways of working.
- Support hiring managers throughout each stage of the Culligan Talent recruitment process.
- Own multiple vacancies and manage recruitment activity through the Workable ATS, including screening, filtering, interviewing, and offers.
- Optimise ATS tools, including AI tools, to improve the attraction experience.
- Develop recruitment strategies and initiate recruitment campaigns with hiring managers.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end onboarding, including communication, stakeholder engagement, pre-employment checks, and induction planning.
- Monitor and track market activity, including job title trends, salaries, benefits, and advertising methods.
- Maintain compliance with recruitment policies, employment legislation, and data protection requirements.
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Support employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary investigations, grievances, performance management, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with organisational change projects, restructures, and workforce planning.
- Instil performance management culture and review processes, including rating calibration.
- Collaborate with the broader people team to drive consistency, collaboration, and creativity.
- Build relationships with English-speaking hiring managers and Global people leaders across Europe and the US.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment sourcing tools.
- Experience working in an internal Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR Advisor, or People Advisor role.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice.
- Practical experience managing employee relations (ER matters), with a confident and professional approach.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening through to offer and onboarding, across multiple vacancies.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with excellent communication, influencing, and interviewing abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification is desirable.
