About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, lead, and implement an IT strategy to populate disaster recovery plans for every application used at company plants
- Strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture through a proactive, risk-based resilience and recovery framework
- Coordinate with application owners to define, test, and audit disaster recovery plans
- Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement effective security controls protecting critical systems and data
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, governance practices, and cybersecurity policies
- Analyze vulnerability and configuration data and recommend remediation strategies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements throughout the solution development lifecycle
- Review systems and architectures, identify security weaknesses, and recommend improvements supporting business objectives
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to leaders and stakeholders
- Apply secure architecture, secure design, and secure coding principles
- Mentor less experienced cybersecurity leaders and build stakeholder partnerships
- Prioritize and assign tasks to a group of cybersecurity leaders
- Prepare reports and continuously improve application strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required
- 5-7 years of cybersecurity work experience required
- CISSP or similar certification preferred
- 2 years of experience with cloud technology and concepts preferred
- Position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
- Ability to coordinate and participate in disaster recovery testing
- Experience establishing and maintaining resilience and recovery KPI control points
- Experience designing and updating disaster recovery and PACE plans
- Experience conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance
- Experience preparing reports and continuously improving application strategies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, industry frameworks, regulations, organizational policies, systems analysis, and security requirements planning
