About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the customer-facing sales force through the lead-to-close sales rhythm
  • Respond to incoming electronic customer inquiries and customer calls, engaging a more experienced Inside Sales Coordinator when needed
  • Compile budgetary quotes for simple jobs by gathering technical data, customer presentations, lead time, and other information
  • Schedule customer visits and events and assist with their preparation and execution
  • Receive and process orders, and issue order acknowledgements, invoices, and shipping notices for simple jobs
  • Compile and communicate order status, inventory status, and related information to the customer-facing sales force
  • Assist in resolving customer issues, including shipment and after-sale issues
  • Compile, analyze, and report inventory/stock levels
  • Support branch personnel in selling products to retail customers
  • Support Planned Maintenance Residual sales activities through customer engagement, quote preparation, follow-up coordination, and collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain customer account activity and support sales and service objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
  • Some work experience
  • Intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational excellence
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
