About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve bookings targets by establishing strong customer relationships and helping customers design and launch New Nuclear projects
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity development through order closure
- Work closely with strategic customers and internal business unit teams to deliver complex, multi-year contracts
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and negotiate complex, multi-year contracts
- Identify customer needs and bring together Curtiss-Wright resources to create customized solutions
- Drive and implement sales strategies for assigned markets and customers to increase order volume, scope and profitability
- Contribute to marketing and commercial strategies to expand market presence
- Communicate regularly with Curtiss-Wright executive leadership on account progress and market intelligence
- Develop winning bid strategies and lead negotiations
- Support proposal development and obtain necessary management approvals
- Update and maintain CRM tools, including Microsoft Dynamics, and represent opportunities in meetings to support sales forecasts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; Engineering Degree is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, procurement, applications engineering, design/manufacturing engineering in the nuclear industry
- Ability and willingness to travel two weeks per month to customer sites
- U.S. export-controlled information access eligibility
- Advanced understanding of the New Nuclear market, including AP 1000, APR 1400/1000, small modular reactors, advanced reactors and micro reactors
- Established relationships with decision makers within New Nuclear developers and EPC firms
- Five years of experience selling engineered products to New Nuclear developers
