About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities, the local community, and grounds
- Drive apartment sales by highlighting community quality and apartment-home lifestyle
- Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting information and initiating background checks
- Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in
- Deliver service to residents to exceed expectations and maintain resident retention
- Perform office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment-home rentals
- Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
- Ability to be courteous and professional
- Well organized and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
- Professional and a team player
- Ability to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time
- Ability to regularly operate office machinery
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
