About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formulate preliminary space plans that integrate the client’s needs
- Develop preliminary plans and detailed design drawings using Revit
- Confirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and meet all applicable code requirements
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure the final design outcome meets functional requirements
- Attend project meetings and communicate with team members and stakeholders
- Track high-volume project progress and identify potential issues or challenges
- Respond to client inquiries and address their needs promptly and professionally
- Develop strong client relationships to build trust and foster long-term partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus)
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Understanding and management of phasing, design options, and schedules
- Ability to read and review construction documents; provide technical sign-off/approval
- Understanding of low voltage, construction materials, design concepts/budgets, constructability, electrical and HVAC systems
- Understanding of building codes and ADA standards
- Versed in the five phases of an interior/architectural project
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
