About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the procurement function within the portfolio of sites on a client account
- Manage the global procurement relationship with the client, account management team, vendors, C&W Corporate, and other stakeholders
- Implement programs and initiatives to achieve goals, metrics, and KPIs
- Analyze account-wide spend, vendors, operations, and processes to identify value-creation opportunities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Develop and facilitate high-complexity RFPs, analyze responses, negotiate, and use other techniques to obtain expected results
- Interpret contracts, negotiate with vendors, and maintain contractual records retention plans
- Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, resource use, and legal issues
- Manage tracking and reporting mechanisms
- Maintain organized records and compliance checks for service contracts
- Apply C&W best practices, policies, processes, tools, templates, and client specifications
- Engage with Category Managers and preferred suppliers
- Participate in and lead meetings
- Generate and distribute reports
- Evaluate supplier performance and address quality, delivery, or service issues
- Collaborate with finance and operations to understand procurement needs
- Leverage AI-powered analytics for team resource allocation, workload forecasting, and capacity planning
- Apply machine learning models to create supplier scorecards, analyze performance patterns, and predict emerging issues
- Resolve client issues related to supplier performance and quality
- Manage personnel and roles with direct reporting relationships
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required
- 7+ years’ experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, ideally in facility services or related discipline
- Understanding of Strategic Sourcing processes
- Demonstrated proficiency with e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems
- Legal knowledge and ability to prepare/negotiate agreements and amendments
- Ability to explain contract specifics to clients
- Analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and interpret information, data and related documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently to find solutions
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Strong management skills and ability to lead with direct or indirect reporting structure
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks
