About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to project strategy development with Directors and execute within C&W and client business units
  • Manage overall project costs, schedule, risks and scope execution
  • Develop project charters and execution plans
  • Lead and schedule meetings and prepare agendas
  • Develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines
  • Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews through conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases
  • Assist with selection, contracting and oversight of consultants and construction teams
  • Integrate Project Management and C&W components such as brokerage, building operations and M.E.P. into projects
  • Review requisitions, change orders and project invoices
  • Participate in marketing and presentation of services to clients
  • Organize people and resources and may supervise Project Managers, Space Planners and CAD Operators
  • Provide documentation and reports to clients and building/facility management teams
  • Cooperate with building/facility personnel to achieve quality, service, cost and profit goals
  • Report major problems, findings and results to the Account/Portfolio Manager and senior building/facility manager
  • Obtain required approvals before organizational changes, planned actions, commitments and expenditures above budget
  • Establish goals and objectives for supervised organizational units when required
  • Select, hire and delegate authority to subordinates when required
  • Train, develop, motivate, discipline and appraise subordinates when required
  • Implement government laws and regulations and adhere to government rulings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 7 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity
  • Experience within the construction industry required
  • History in client relations, client management, contract negotiations and consulting skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Advanced project management skills with demonstrated understanding of project management business
  • Ability to support and/or lead business development initiatives as assigned or requested
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analyzed data to client and project team
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related area required
