About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the flagship in-person Foundry event end to end
  • Design, plan, and deliver regional Foundry roadshows across Asia, Europe, and North America
  • Establish and manage a regular cadence of virtual events
  • Conceptualise and execute high-touch events for industrial partners and enterprise customers
  • Align event formats with commercial and ecosystem goals
  • Own CuspAI’s presence at major industry, machine learning, and materials science conferences
  • Evaluate sponsorship packages, oversee booth design and recruitment stands, manage on-site logistics, and report on ROI
  • Help deliver internal company events such as CuspCon, company offsites, and all-hands
  • Source, negotiate with, and direct external production agencies, AV suppliers, local vendors, and freelance event staff
  • Bring CuspAI’s visual brand identity into physical spaces with Communications, Product Marketing, and Creative teams
  • Own event budgets, timelines, and post-event analytics, reporting performance and cost efficiency to leadership
  • Build CuspAI’s global events function and repeatable event model from the ground up

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or event operations within a high-growth tech, deep-tech, or B2B environment
  • Track record of delivering high-touch physical and virtual events internationally across EMEA and APAC regions
  • Strong vendor management experience, including sourcing, negotiating with, and directing production agencies, AV teams, and freelance staff
  • Ability to balance strategic planning, budget management, roadmap design, and ROI measurement with hands-on, on-site event execution
  • Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership, sales, partnerships, and creative teams
  • Flexibility to undertake regular UK and international travel for events, conferences, and site visits
  • Prior startup or scale-up experience building an event function or operational processes from scratch (bonus)
  • Experience engaging scientific, research-led, or highly technical audiences (bonus)
  • Familiarity with event management software, virtual event tools, and CRM systems such as HubSpot (bonus)
  • Knowledge of spatial design, environmental branding, or experiential production (bonus)
