About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for recruitment across CWB Group
- Deliver a consultative, end-to-end recruitment experience
- Advise and support leaders on recruitment best practices, interviewing, candidate assessment, hiring decisions, and recruitment technology
- Lead recruitment after hiring requirements are established and approved
- Advise hiring managers and provide training and assistance throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Lead and coordinate job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, assessments, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination
- Provide guidance on market trends, talent availability, sourcing strategies, and hiring best practices
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, operational, and leadership positions
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers on workforce planning and hiring needs
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organizational policies, and recruitment standards
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment programs, tools, and processes
- Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience from attraction through onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities and maintain candidate communications
- Support recruitment branding, employer branding, and talent attraction initiatives
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, assessment providers, and other external recruitment partners
- Serve as recruitment systems expert for ATS and HCM platforms including Dayforce, UKG Pro, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed
- Prepare recruitment reports and analyze metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring activity
- Report to the Director, Human Resources
- Work from a home office and travel occasionally for collaboration, regional meetings, and other required duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-Secondary Education in HR or related discipline
- 5 years full cycle recruiting experience
- Experience providing consultative recruitment support to leaders and hiring managers
- Experience training and supporting managers on recruitment best practices
- Experience recruiting across professional, technical, operational, and leadership roles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-based platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Solid experience utilizing Human Capital Management systems, specifically Applicant Tracking Systems such as Dayforce and UKG Pro
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to travel within Canada occasionally
- CHRP or CHRL designation considered an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in French considered an asset
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and technology considered an asset
