About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide primarily remote and on-site support to clients
Proactively anticipate, pre-empt, diagnose, and solve hardware, network, and software problems
Develop and maintain knowledge of each customer's specific business environment
Perform major technology platform migrations, including Exchange and Active Directory
Explain technical concepts, issues, alternatives, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Document key information in ticketing and knowledge base systems
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, targets, deadlines, and problems
Identify process improvement opportunities and adopt new methods and best practices
Support Cyber Advisors' customer-focused managed IT services growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

Position based in the Salt Lake City, UT area
Eligible to be remote/hybrid once initial onboarding is complete
Working hours are Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
Must have a valid drivers license
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and server management
Experience with network security, anti-virus, and firewalls
Broad knowledge of VMWare/Hyper-V hypervisor technologies
Broad knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and DHCP
Broad knowledge of MS Office 365 administration
Dedication to customer satisfaction and getting it right the first time
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Strong troubleshooting skills across broad and diverse populations and environments
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and adopt new methods and best practices
Verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical documentation skills and ability to record information in ticketing and knowledge base systems
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, targets, and deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experience
A+, Network+, or similar IT certification
