About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with internal teams and the independent field sales network to understand business needs and identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve efficiency
Assess existing workflows, identify repetitive tasks, and prioritize opportunities for reusable solutions
Gather user feedback and recommend improvements based on practical business needs
Design, build, test, document, and maintain automation solutions and AI-enabled tools, primarily using Google Workspace
Develop reusable, configurable solutions rather than one-off tools
Evaluate emerging AI and automation tools and assess their potential business value
Handle confidential business and compensation-related information appropriately
Provide demonstrations, user guides, and technical support
Support users with implementation and troubleshooting while gathering feedback to improve tools
Work with internal departments and participating independent sales offices to evaluate solution effectiveness and opportunities for broader use

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of relevant experience in workflow automation, business process improvement, AI enablement, business intelligence, or a related field
Demonstrated experience identifying business process improvement opportunities and independently building, testing, and deploying automation solutions from concept through implementation
Experience using scripting, low-code/no-code tools, or automation platforms to solve business problems
Ability to translate business requirements into working solutions and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Experience documenting tools and providing user-facing technical support
Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Ability to travel approximately 10% for business needs, including visits to participating independent sales offices
Preferred: Google Apps Script, JavaScript, Google Sheets, and other Google Workspace tools
Preferred: Experience with CRM, commission, or reporting data from Salesforce, Xactly, or Qlik
Preferred: Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI tools
Preferred: Experience with APIs, Python, or system integrations
Preferred: Experience supporting sales operations, multi-location businesses, or independent business owners
Preferred: Experience assessing technology vendors and measuring the business value of solutions
