About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver sales results and work autonomously as the single point of accountability for the successful launch within the territory
  • Develop territory-specific account plans to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities
  • Coordinate local integrated field team efforts across medical, payer, and patient navigation/support colleagues
  • Build relationships with leading hospitals, cardiology centers, and specialty networks across the territory
  • Serve as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals and institutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert by delivering clinically relevant disease and product information
  • Create demand for the product launch
  • Communicate approved resources to HCPs, including publications, marketing materials, payer information, patient support materials, and educational programs
  • Work cross-functionally with medical, market access, and marketing colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Eligibility to work as Pharmaceutical sales person according to §75 AMG
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma sales
  • Experience as a commercial sales representative or key account manager with sole ownership of the territory is mandatory
  • Native German and business fluent English preferred
  • Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience preferred
  • Product launch experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of KOLs and key accounts within assigned territory is an advantage
  • Expertise in evaluation of territory market trends and strategic planning that drives results and exceeds sales objectives
  • Experience selling to complex accounts, such as university clinics, identifying influential stakeholders, and meeting specialty care HCP needs in hospital and office-based settings
  • Scientific acumen and understanding of customer and patient needs
  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally
  • Valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle
