About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary point of contact for Finance reporting requirements
Develop, maintain and enhance internal and external financial reports
Produce high-quality analytical reporting to support business and finance stakeholders
Work closely with IT colleagues to support the standardisation, development and implementation of reporting solutions
Engage with key stakeholders across the business to understand, develop and maintain reporting requirements
Map and document business processes using Visio and maintain process documentation following system or procedural changes
Transform data into meaningful insight and support continuous improvement across reporting processes
Contribute to reporting improvements, process optimisation and management information development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous SQL experience
Commercial experience developing analytical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Finance or financial systems knowledge (desirable)
Experience with Power BI (desirable)
Process mapping and documentation experience using Visio (desirable)
