About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide dedicated executive support to senior leadership within DAC Beachcroft CSG
- Provide a full personal organisational service and handle ad-hoc requests from senior management
- Manage complex and busy diaries
- Manage and book domestic and international travel arrangements
- Monitor and manage urgent emails and inboxes
- Screen telephone calls and emails and handle queries where appropriate
- Manage and book client meetings and events, preparing documentation, itineraries and timetables
- Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations using PowerPoint, plus digital dictation where applicable
- Assist with business development and communications activities, including branded presentations, team sheets, Word mail merges, Excel spreadsheets, client contact reports and delegate packs
- Support financial administration, maintain accurate financial data and organise bills
- Keep client contact information and data accurate and up to date
- Manage expenses and company credit card, liaising with Accounts
- Support electronic and paperless working
- Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and bespoke DAC Beachcroft packages
- Support cost-saving travel initiatives
- Handle confidential information according to firm data security protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous Executive Assistant experience within a professional services environment is essential
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including a grade C in English and Maths, or equivalent
- A secretarial NVQ / Diploma or equivalent would be beneficial but is not essential
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages
- Demonstrable ability to multitask and prioritise a full workload under pressure and work independently
- Demonstrable experience of organising successful large events
- Excellent eye for detail with concern for quality and accuracy
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing
- Client service-focused approach, interacting with clients professionally
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with ability to apply project management skills
- Excellent all-round communication skills and ability to engage effectively with different audiences at all levels
- Team-oriented, collaborative, flexible, can-do attitude
- Ability to take accurate minutes and produce them
- Professional telephone manner and ability to act as first port of call for external clients
- Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate proactivity
- Effective planning, prioritisation, organisation and time management skills
