Key responsibilities & impact
  • Use data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to solve real-world business problems and support innovative products and capabilities
  • Explore, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Use Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data analysis and analytical solutions
  • Apply statistical and mathematical methods to identify patterns, trends, relationships, and anomalies
  • Develop visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Design analyses and experiments to answer business questions or evaluate hypotheses
  • Help develop and evaluate predictive models, machine learning techniques, and advanced analytics
  • Assess data quality and the impact of data limitations on conclusions
  • Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Use and validate integrated AI-assisted tools for coding, exploration, research, documentation, and problem solving
  • Communicate methodology, findings, assumptions, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Work within an Agile team and collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, product teams, and business stakeholders
  • Learn and evaluate new data science, analytics, visualization, and AI technologies
  • Support an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within one year of the position start date (May/June)
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative or technical field
  • Programming experience with Python, SQL, or another programming language
  • Understanding of fundamental data visualization practices and communicating information effectively through charts and other visualizations
  • Ability to work independently toward a defined goal, investigate problems, and seek information needed to make progress
  • Experience completing at least one data science or analytical project involving a specific question, analysis, and data-based conclusion
  • Background in statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative methods
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
  • No visa sponsorship or existing visa holders
