About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, analyze, and report financial results
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide insights supporting strategic decision-making
  • Submit monthly financial results to Headquarters, including secondary disclosure supporting actuals in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies
  • Respond to Headquarters questions regarding submitted data
  • Administer MIF, the internal reporting tool, and the accounting structure within SAP
  • Produce monthly commentary analyzing financial results of group segments and entities
  • Prepare quarterly financial reporting commentary presentations and present them to management and external auditors
  • Perform IFRS accounting research and analyze impacts of new accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate discussions and prepare documentation supporting company accounting positions and financial reporting implications of business activities
  • Prepare regulatory filings and support compliance activities, including internal control testing and regulatory agency audits
  • Perform monthly close activities, including debt journal entries, intercompany confirmations, hedging activity, account analysis, balance sheet account reconciliations, and internal reports
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Accounting
  • General Audit experience
  • Financial statement analytics and research
  • Ability to function independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Looks for efficiencies/automation
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Comfortable speaking with all levels of management
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP
  • Legally authorized to work permanently in the country of posting
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
