About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess the creditworthiness of retail and commercial customers to determine lending risk
- Analyze personal and corporate financial status, credit history, and other financial information
- Generate financial ratios to determine profitability and liquidity
- Make decisions on credit extensions and credit limits to maximize profitability and minimize credit risks and losses
- Maintain accurate financial background information on current and prospective customers
- Identify, analyze, and improve existing back-end business processes
- Apply process definition, improvement, and design methodologies to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiency and productivity, and increase customer satisfaction
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analyses
- Plan and implement quality assurance and compliance processes
- Support training and change-management materials and activities for new processes and procedures
- Use continuous improvement to eliminate waste, automate and digitalize processes, and improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree
- Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Decision maker for daily activities guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager
- Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to the job field and basic knowledge of related work areas
- Coordinates team resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives
- Supervises entry and intermediate-level professional individual contributors or large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics
- Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy when exchanging information and handling sensitive issues
- Responsible for staffing decisions including hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
