About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain software applications, dashboards, APIs, and automation tools supporting manufacturing operations
Assist with AI-enabled solutions including Generative AI applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, and analytics tools
Create and maintain SQL queries, reports, and data integrations across manufacturing and business systems
Support development of data pipelines and data processing workflows
Participate in application testing, deployment, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions
Develop reports and visualizations using Power BI and other analytics platforms
Support cloud-based applications and services under guidance from senior engineers
Follow software development best practices, version control processes, and security standards
Investigate and resolve application, data integration, and reporting issues
Document solutions, processes, and technical implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
An attached resume is required
Experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience with software development
Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar
Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
Basic understanding of software development concepts, testing, and debugging
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience related to software development, AI, data, or analytics may be advantageous
Experience developing web applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks may be advantageous
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization tools may be advantageous
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure may be advantageous
Familiarity with REST APIs and application integration concepts may be advantageous
Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, machine learning, or data science concepts may be advantageous
Familiarity with Git and source control practices may be advantageous
Understanding of manufacturing, industrial systems, or operational technology environments may be advantageous
Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application
