About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop coolant systems plumbing, tanks, vent lines, and third-party engine integration hardware
- Use problem-solving techniques to develop solutions throughout the product development cycle
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and GD&T using NX and related tools
- Continuously improve product quality, tools, and processes
- Engage in cost and complexity optimization initiatives
- Respond to Custom Work Orders, Plant Build issues, and Customer Field Concerns
- Interface with product design, validation engineering, compliance, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams
- Work with multi-tier suppliers to ensure designs conform to specifications, customer expectations, engineering practices, and government regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with quality
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills
- Understanding of engineering upstream and downstream processes
- Proven follow-through and ability to work independently
- Prior experience with DTNA systems (PLATON, IMACS+) preferred
- Experience using Siemens NX for solid modeling preferred
- Ability to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
