About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop coolant systems plumbing, tanks, vent lines, and third-party engine integration hardware
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques to develop solutions throughout the product development cycle
  • Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and GD&T using NX and related tools
  • Continuously improve product quality, tools, and processes
  • Stay current with industry developments
  • Engage in cost and complexity optimization initiatives
  • Respond to Custom Work Orders, Plant Build issues, and Customer Field Concerns
  • Interface with product design, validation engineering, compliance, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams
  • Interact with multi-tier suppliers to ensure design conformance with specifications, customer expectations, engineering practices, and government regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with quality
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills
  • Understanding of engineering upstream and downstream processes
  • Proven follow-through and ability to work independently
  • Prior experience with DTNA systems (PLATON, IMACS+) preferred
  • Experience using Siemens NX for solid modeling preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
