About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimize pricing over the life cycle of aftermarket parts to maximize revenue and margin and support product, dealer and customer objectives
- Conduct market research to assess market price position and trends
- Analyze product profitability, including cost to serve, pocket margin, volume-based price discount structures and profitability thresholds
- Propose pricing recommendations using data analysis and market research
- Develop financial models to quantify financial impacts
- Prepare and present key findings to internal stakeholders
- Manage and administer assigned parts segments within the pricing tool
- Ensure timely and accurate development and maintenance of DTNA’s Aftermarket Price Book
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Resolve pricing issues, discrepancies and questions
- Identify improvements in pricing processes, policies, procedures, systems and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA and preferably 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis using large datasets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot, v-lookup, if-statement)
- Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to present recommendations
- Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other teams
- SQL/SAS/STATA/programming experience may be advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field—Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline may be advantageous
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
- May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
