About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Engineering projects
  • Create detailed project timing plans and work with Engineering and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate and facilitate status reviews, design reviews, mockup reviews, and visual management meetings
  • Publish meeting minutes and track action items
  • Identify risks and escalate to management when appropriate
  • Prepare project status reports and present CVDS gate updates to project committees
  • Assess feasibility, budget, and timing for future product development projects
  • Recommend scope changes to maximize return on investment
  • Recommend and assist with implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use and support the DTNA Visual Management process for running projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills able to independently lead cross-functional project teams and manage complex Engineering development projects
  • Demonstrated skills in project management processes
  • Knowledge of product development processes
  • Experience preparing and giving presentations
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good networking skills and a strong interest in Project Management
  • Ability to work with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple, detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management
  • Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • An attached resume is required
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
