About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and lead product projects including the creation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and technical content
Provide leadership to all cross-functional departments on all project-related topics
Coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings such as status reviews, design reviews, and mockup reviews
Work closely with Engineering and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
Identify risks and escalate to management through project status reports and Quality Gate reporting
Use and support the DTNA Visual Management process
Track and report project performance against targets
Assure change requests are addressed in a timely manner
Interface with partners at Detroit, Cummins, and other powertrain suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business and prefer 5+ years of relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Self-motivated, proactive leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
Basic AI skills to drive efficiency into project management tasks
Ability to independently lead cross-functional project teams and manage large, complex Engineering development projects
Demonstrated skills in project management processes
Knowledge and aptitude of Powertrain, cab and chassis systems, electrical design, and/or vehicle software
Knowledge of product development processes and experience preparing and giving presentations
Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
