About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, from intake through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, skill requirements, and hiring priorities
  • Proactively source and engage talent, including building pipelines before roles open
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate interview loops, and deliver offers
  • Use recruiting data and market insights to guide sourcing strategy, manage pipelines, and influence hiring decisions
  • Provide regular updates and clear communication to hiring managers and candidates
  • Ensure a positive, transparent candidate experience from first contact through offer
  • Evaluate and improve sourcing approaches, interview processes, and hiring outcomes
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract top candidates, reduce time to fill, and increase candidate quality
  • Use social media, sourcing tools, and existing networks to generate qualified candidate pools
  • Discover and attract passive talent using varied techniques
  • Fully utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to screen and process applicants
  • Build talent pipelines ahead of hiring needs
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor and partner to hiring managers
  • Travel to recruiting events, university fairs, and networking events as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2–4 years of directly related Recruiting / Sourcing experience is required
  • Experience sourcing technical talent utilizing LinkedIn and other channels
  • Demonstrated track record pipelining, sourcing and assessing technical talent
  • Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners
  • Skilled in offer negotiation
  • Awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of Human Resources work
  • Potential for travel to national and local recruiting events, university fairs and networking events, up to 5–10%
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • An attached resume is required
  • Ability to work in or relocate to Portland, Oregon
  • Legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship and existing visa holders are not accepted
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • May be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
