Regional Compensation Specialist
Daimler Truck North America. Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
- Collaborate with Talent Management and HR leadership on executive compensation planning and governance
- Administer salary offers, job evaluations, short- and long-term incentives, salary reviews and increases, and salary surveys
- Support executive compensation and sales compensation activities
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and compensation regulations
- Align compensation initiatives with Global Compensation and Compensation Center of Excellence teams
- Communicate key compensation processes, deadlines, and changes to leaders and employees
- Manage recognition and reward strategy and systems for DTFS North America
- Partner with leaders on organizational structures supporting business performance
- Provide guidance on job architecture, leveling, and career pathing
- Support organizational redesigns and structure changes
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare reports and dashboards for decision-making and leadership reviews
- Leverage Workday for compensation processes, reporting, and data integrity
- Support system enhancements and testing related to compensation modules
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field and preferably 5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, and regulatory requirements in North America
- Experience with organizational design and executive compensation
- Proficiency in Workday
- Advanced Excel/data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a global matrix environment
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or equivalent is a plus
- Experience with compensation in Mexico and Canada labor markets is highly valued
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Project management/coordination experience
- Must be able to work in or relocate to Charlotte, NC, US
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Visa sponsorship only available to current Daimler Truck Financial Services employees working under an existing company visa
