About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and document software architecture and concepts for technical and non-technical requirements
  • Ensure scalability and efficiency of software
  • Ensure usage of software in global products
  • Align CI/CD toolchain with internal and external stakeholders
  • Research solutions and best practices within and outside the automotive industry
  • Debug functional and non-functional issues
  • Provide resolutions for issues
  • Coordinate globally with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers
  • Organize software development process across the entire driver experience domain
  • Coach and mentor team members and colleagues on development methodologies and execution
  • Create documentation, reports, and presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field, and 5-7 years in software development, is required
  • Expertise in software development and embedded software development using agile methods
  • Experience with Android, Kanzi, Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience in service oriented architectures
  • Experience with identifying and solving the root cause of complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams, especially with the US, Germany, and India
  • Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • An attached resume is required
