About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily activities, schedules, and operational goals/performance objectives of the team
- Evaluate business metrics and agent performance to identify deficiencies and implement customized solutions
- Monitor team members to ensure quality and performance expectations are met
- Lead the team in providing quality service to internal or external customers
- Collaborate with other department Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations and escalate issues when necessary
- Provide support for internal and external audit evidence requests, including Corporate Audit, Risk Review, CFPB, ABS, KPMG, and State exams
- Conduct external vendor audits
- Provide leadership and employee development through coaching, huddles, side-by-side assistance, and training
- Execute performance appraisals, interviews, talent selection, productivity monitoring, developmental discussions, and disciplinary actions
- Provide employee rewards and recognition
- Ensure technical training and development of team members
- Provide regular one-on-one performance feedback and semi-annual performance reviews
- Provide proactive updates to the direct manager and Operations Manager regarding compliance findings, process issues, personnel issues, developmental opportunities, and process changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of experience in a supervisory or team-lead role within a fast-paced internal service or operations environment
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Power BI (desirable)
- Analysis and strategizing capabilities
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a supportive environment
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive solutions based on metrics
- Clear, concise communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to balance competing priorities, adapt to change, and optimize team workload
- English level: C1+
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
