About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead day-to-day execution of capital projects across Daisy’s condo and co-op portfolio
- Manage façade/Local Law 11, roofing, boiler, elevator, and interior upgrade projects
- Serve as client-facing point of contact for boards and Daisy internal property managers
- Attend board meetings, present project updates, answer questions, and explain project options
- Coordinate property managers, contractors, and residents to schedule work and manage access
- Prepare project updates and materials for board meetings
- Build and maintain project schedules, trackers, and budgets
- Track invoices, change orders, and payment requisitions against approved budgets
- Identify schedule, budget, and quality issues and escalate them with resolution options
- Process change requests through the approval workflow
- Act as day-to-day contact for contractors and vendors
- Solicit and level bids and gather insurance and permit documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and general contractors from kickoff through closeout
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety
- Document site conditions with photos and notes
- Maintain project records, filings, and documentation in Daisy’s systems
- Write weekly status updates for internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of project management or construction coordination experience, ideally within the real estate sector
- A degree in construction management, real estate, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or a similar certification is a plus
- Hands-on experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, and architects
- Comfortable with project management software, tools, and spreadsheets
- Clear, confident communication with boards and residents
- Working knowledge of NYC DOB processes and local law requirements, such as LL11, LL97, and LL152, or eagerness to learn them quickly
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Practical problem-solving using data and sound judgment
- Ability to juggle several active projects and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable with regular site visits across New York City
- Condo/co-op property management experience is desirable
