About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a book of buy-side accounts, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and asset managers
- Act as a trusted advisor to users and client stakeholders to drive product adoption through renewal
- Identify churn risk, low utilization, and customer engagement issues; provide consultative solutions
- Partner with Account Executives to turn account insights into expansion pipeline and qualified leads for products such as Scout and the MCP integration
- Run quarterly business reviews demonstrating client value
- Interpret customer insights to drive product changes and serve as the Voice of Customer with Product and Operations
- Become a product expert and keep customers informed about updates and roadmap developments
- Build client partnerships through onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion
- Attend some onsite client meetings, primarily in New York City
- Work with the Manager to prioritize accounts, refine processes, and improve the customer success function
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience running a CSM book
- Ideally experience in financial services or capital markets
- Understanding of equity research and analyst workflows
- Prior experience as a CSM, ideally with financial technology or services customers
- Experience with equity research analysts, data scientists, credit and risk teams, or fundamental or historical data analysis customers preferred
- Commercial mindset focused on churn risk and expansion opportunities
- Ability to stay organized and maintain data hygiene while managing a complex book of business
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to engage with senior decision-makers
- Ability to operate with AI tools
