About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Increase sales through large channel partners by co-prospecting new customers, recommending Leica microscopy products, and implementing growth strategies within the assigned territory
  • Act as the go-to expert on Leica’s routine microscopy solutions and promote the full product portfolio
  • Train and support channel partner representatives and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Engage in direct field sales, follow up on leads, attend tabletop shows and trade shows, and maintain relationships across government, academic, pharmaceutical, and industrial accounts
  • Keep Salesforce CRM updated with relevant sales activities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Service, Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve concerns
  • Own and manage large channel partner relationships within the assigned territory
  • Execute the go-to-market strategy with local large channel partners
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry, or a related scientific field
  • 3+ years successful selling products of a technical nature
  • Demonstrated core understanding of Microscopy / Imaging / Application
  • Relationship Building with channel partners
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of specific area of work (Commercial, Government, University, Industry etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight within the US
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
