About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow sales for diagnostics product portfolios in the designated territory
- Drive design-in for new and recurring business opportunities across customer segments
- Serve as the primary Cytiva solutions provider for diagnostic application needs within the assigned territory
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners
- Drive annual account growth and expand market presence
- Own accurate and timely sales forecasting and CRM pipeline management
- Achieve quarterly and annual operating plans
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including marketing-generated leads
- Lead pricing negotiations and support complex, strategic deal development
- Collaborate with customer R&D and technical teams and internal R&D, FAS, and Product partners to deliver optimal solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology
- 5+ years of commercial experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry
- Experience with magnetic beads, lateral flow, membrane-based applications, or Next Generation Sequencing
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions and geographies
- Good analytical skills
- Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce.com
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and training
- Ability to coordinate, lead, and influence internal and external teams
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- QlikSense or CRM experience such as Salesforce.com is a plus
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology is a plus
