About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver mainly post-sales customer support
- Lead end-to-end installation and implementation of GeneXpert systems, including site assessments, connectivity setup, and post-launch support
- Deliver customer training and ongoing technical guidance on instruments, software applications, assays, reagents, and connectivity solutions
- Provide field service and technical support through troubleshooting, corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment relocations, and system upgrades
- Act as the primary customer contact for technical and administrative matters
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently
- Manage spare parts and field inventory
- Support customers across the French territory while working remotely from Paris/Île-de-France
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Biology, or related discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in healthcare, biomedical engineering, medical devices or laboratory environments
- Experience working with laboratory customers
- Knowledge of the diagnostics market
- Fluent in French
- Good command of English
- Ability to travel extensively and spend approximately 80% of working time in the field
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment weighing up to 27 kg
- Experience in the diagnostics industry is an advantage
- Experience in technical support and customer training is a plus
- Experience with reagents and instrumentation used in Clinical Diagnostics is a plus
- Experience supporting customers within the assigned territory is a plus
- Experience with molecular diagnostics and laboratory workflows is a plus
