Field Applications Specialist – Immunohistochemistry

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Sales and Service teams to support regional revenue growth, customer retention, and successful adoption of Leica Biosystems solutions
- Lead instrument installations, evaluations, validations, workflow optimization activities, and customer onboarding
- Provide applications support, troubleshooting, and customer training
- Investigate and resolve technical applications issues with Technical Service, Product Management, Global Business Units, and other cross-functional teams
- Identify customer needs, share field insights, document issues, and support continuous improvement of products, workflows, and service delivery
- Support Immunohistochemistry customers across the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree in a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of the Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Pathology, or related laboratory marketplace
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical applications issues, train customers, and support laboratory workflow optimization
- Ability to travel 70% within the territory
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- HT/HTL certification preferred
- Experience in Immunohistochemistry applications, workflows, and laboratory operations is a plus
- Experience in Field Applications, Technical Support, Customer Training, or Laboratory Implementation support is a plus
- Experience supporting laboratory automation, staining platforms, digital pathology solutions, or diagnostic instrumentation is a plus
